FRANK EGGINTON RCA FIAL (1908 - 1990)
Frank Egginton was an English-born watercolourist who became one of the most admired landscape artists of 20th-century Ireland. Known for his sensitive and atmospheric views of the Irish countryside, especially in Connemara and Donegal, his works are celebrated for their delicate colour washes and compositional clarity. Egginton exhibited regularly at the Royal Hibernian Academy and his works remain popular among collectors of traditional Irish landscape painting.
