Biography
FELIM EGAN (1952 - 2020)
Felim Egan was one of Ireland’s leading contemporary abstract painters. Educated in Belfast, Portsmouth, and Geneva, he gained international acclaim for his minimalist works that explore the boundaries of space, colour, and silence. His works are held in major public collections including the Irish Museum of Modern Art, the European Parliament, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. Egan represented Ireland at the Paris Biennale and the São Paulo Biennial.
