KATHLEEN ISABELLA MACKIE ARUA (1899 - 1996)
Kathleen Mackie was a prominent Irish landscape painter and member of the Ulster Academy of Arts. Educated at Belfast College of Art and the Slade School in London, her work reflects a love of rural Ireland—particularly Donegal and the northern coastlines. Known for her crisp light, confident handling of oil, and serene views of land and sea, Mackie exhibited extensively and is represented in major Irish public collections.
