JEAN DUFY (FRENCH, 1888 - 1964)
Jean Dufy was a French painter known for his vibrant watercolours and colourful depictions of Parisian life, landscapes, and musical themes. The younger brother of Raoul Dufy, he developed his own distinctive style combining impressionistic lightness with modernist abstraction. He exhibited widely in France and abroad and remains highly regarded in 20th-century French art.
