Chinese, 18th century A Qing dynasty very fine and early dragon kesi roundel rank badge, or ‘puxi.’ Beautifully woven in dark silk with ecru and gold thread, depicting a full-faced five claw dragon, flying over the waves in a sky of clouds and flames.
