Studio of John Hoppner RA (1758 – 1810) Portrait of Frederica Sophia Wilhelmina of Prussia, Princess of Orange Three-quarters length seated facing front, her left leg extended a little to the side, right hand in her lap, left elbow resting on a ledge beside her, wearing an empire-line gown with a frilled edge, a ribbon in her hair and a fur lined and trimmed cloak Oil on canvas With exhibition label verso inscribed, '8th Sept. 31 Oct 1898 / Oranje-Nassau Tentoonstelling te Amsterdam' The stipple print of this portrait by P.
