A fine Mahal carpet West Iran C.1930 The ivory field with an all over design of large flowers and serrated leafy vines. Enclosed by madder ciders of angular vines and palmettes, flanked by indigo guard stripes. Ends both rewoven approx 3cm across. Selvages have been rebound. Pile is fair/slightly low throughout with some evidence of repiling. Property from a Princely Collection Dimensions: 302 cm (L) x 211 cm (W)AS FOUND. There have been recent changed to condition.
