Continental, 19th century Circa 1850-60, A pair of percussion pocket pistols. Possibly of Belgian manufacture. With short rifled barrels of 45 calibre, Boxlock action, Centre hammer percussion action. Fully stocked with foliate engraved box locks with folding triggers, ebonized stocks and steel butt caps. Contained in its original French style mahogany casing, velvet interior with single cavity ball mould, turned wood powder flask and cap box. Property of a nobleman Dimensions: (Each gun) 7 in. (L)
