Persian 18th-19th century A fine pair of flintlock pistols. With decorative Persian style Miquelet locks mixed with Turkish form and the southern Caucasus niello work. Full stocks decorated with mother of pearl and bone inlays-star shapes, diamonds and half-moons. Walnut with gilt Damascene etching on barrel. Hexagonal smooth bore barrel.
