A Malayir carpet West Iran c. 1925 The charcoal field of Herati design with birds and stylised flower heads. Framed by pale olive green. Enclosed by ivory borders of serrated leaves and boteh guard stripes. Both ends with web retained (some fraying and minor damage). Selvages have been rebound. Pile in good condition. Suitable for immediate use. Property from a Princely Collection Dimensions: 198 cm x 122 cm
