British, George III A fine pair of silver-gilt coasters, decorated with continuous band of grapevines. The rim with shell gadroon and acanthus leaves. Each set to the centre of the wooden base with a silver-gilt roundel engraved with a coat of arms. Hallmarked London, 1818, with maker's mark 'Rebecca Emes & Edward Barnard I.' Dimensions: 6 cm. (H) x 17 cm. (W) Total weight: Approx. 1096.6 g.
