1856 (5 Dec.) entire letter from London with red Inspectors mark, Lombard St. Maltese Cross datestamp, Liverpool lozenge (6.12), the entire carried by the "America" bound for Halifax but a severe storm off Cape Clear forced her to return to Liverpool, the mail transferred to the "Canada" which sailed on the 12 Dec. and reached Halifax on 23 Dec., finally carried by the "Delta" arriving 28 December; fine.
