Printing 2, early July 1896 - ½a. to 2½a. inclusive
A further consignment of the five lowest values arrived in July 1896. The "Zanibar" error occurring in the 6a. was now repeated in a further printing of these low values. Hall plated these errors at R.7/2 from observation of a block of six of this value. The block of six below is likely to have been from the same printing as the "Zanibar" error. The overprints are similarly centred and share the same faint printing impression
½a. blue-green marginal block of six (3x2), R.9/1-10/3, broken capital "z" in R.10/3, large part original gum with the stamps unmounted; a little toned. S.G. 3 var.
