Native tribal interest: two African carvings - comprising a carved wooden female fertility figure, probably Democratic Republic of Congo, possibly Songye, the seated figure with rope bound neck, waist and ankles, 44cm high; and an African carved ox bone totem figure, double sided and carved with front and side profile portraits, attendant figures and ceremonial objects, the based carved with lined S-scrolls, 58cm high.
