Description
Three pieces of Chinese porcelain - comprising an 18th / early 19th century Imari Chinese porcelain soup plate, 22.5cm diameter (rim chips); an 18th century Chinese blue and white porcelain dish with incised lotus flower decoration, centred with a single prunus flower within a diaper rondel, the rim with conforming cross decorated band, 21.7cm diameter (hairline and restoration to rim); and an 18th / early 19th century Chinese porcelain famille rose bowl decorated with enamelled flowers and with a fish-scale band inside the rim, 22.7cm diameter (small chips and hairline to rim).
* Condition: - Imari soup plate: Four rim chips and an associated small hairline above the largest chip, which is to the underside of the rim. Some gilt wear. - Blue and white dish: Old hairline from rim visible to inside to the bowl and there is a restored chip at the top end of the hairline, with overpainting to the exterior of the bowl. One other tiny pinhead sized rim frit. - Famille rose bowl: Long hairline from rim with a flake near to the top on the exterior of the bowl. Three small rim chips to top edge. No other faults.
