2. Plan drawn in pencil by King Ferdinand II in Naples 1854 with later cover note from Charles Augustus Turner:

Cumberland Lodge
Croydon.
My dear Miss Brown,
I enclose a plan drawn
[by] King Bomba of Naples on the occasion of a large fire that broke out in 1854 close to the Palace.
The plan was given to my cousin by one of the King's ministers. I hope you will accept it and place it with your others.
With kindest regards, I am dear Miss Brown yours sincerely
