A 19th century gilt bronze mantel clock - probably by a Paris maker, unsigned, the two train movement striking the half hours on a bell, with outside countwheel strike, no 1447, fronted by a white enamel Roman dial, the case of baroque form with foliate, gadrooned, cabochon and floral swagged ornament, crested by a courting couple on a garden terrace, 45.7cm high, with pendulum and key. (the flowering branch in the gentleman's right hand a/f)
