Description
A Chinese Yuan style stoneware footed or pedestal bowl - the deep, cupped bowl with incised cross-hatched decoration to the interior, centred by a double concentric circle, the exterior with moulded fluting and double incised lines to the moulded rim, on a stepped pedestal foot with a band of incised lines, in a satin celadon glaze of variable thickness over a buff earthenware ground, 21.6cm diameter, 14.5cm high, small chip to rim.
* Small chip to rim. A little glaze scratching to interior and glaze crazing throughout. Two deep glaze scratches to the foot and another glaze scratch to the widest point of the bowl exterior. No other faults and no restoration.
