* Good condition and good colour throughout overall. Largely original. Some wear to surface of the rush seats from use and one of the chairs has a small section of loss to the rush at the centre left of the seat. One of the carvers has an old screwed repair to the joint of the right arm and support and also an old joined repair to the left arm and support joint. The same carver has some movement in the joint between the back and seat, plus some old chips to the wood to the bottom of the back legs. The other carver has old, well executed repairs with new pieces let-in at the bottom of the back legs. One of the chairs has a loss to the top edge of the oak strip at the left side of the rush seat. A few of the other seat strips are probably later replacements.
