元 白玉高浮透雕穿花龙纹蹀躞
Of rectangular form with cusped sides, the surface well-carved in high relief with a writhing dragon amidst peony scrolls, the four edges further carved with mythical creatures interspersed by 'Shou' roundels and Buddhist swastikas, the back later incised with a six-character mark in seal script reading 'bing wan fu jian wu ji'

Note:
Samuel B. Nitikman (1899-1982) was a collector of Asian artwork, including jade, as well as European modernist paintings and modern sculpture. The Winnipeg Art Gallery arranged a Collector's Exhibition for his pieces in January 1968. His collection was passed down to his nephew, Ernest Sirluck (1918-2013), the former president of the University of Manitoba.
