Bring the garden indoors with five elegant plant and flower receptacles coming up at auction this month

There are hundreds of varieties of vintage or antique vases, pots and jardinières available at auctions and here is a selection of five lots coming up at online sales this month.
1. Royal Doulton rose vases
This 13 in (33cm) high pair of Royal Doulton slender vases decorated with pink roses in relief on a mottled green ground is by Lily Partington (above). As with everything at auction please check condition reports as one of these vases has a crack. They are estimated at £60-100 at WH Peacock on September 4.

2. Mintons Secessionist vase
This rare Mintons Secessionist vase is tube-line decorated in dark red and olive glazes. The 7in (18cm) high vase is offered with an estimate of £200-300 at Rogers Jones on September 4.

3. Moorcroft vase
