GUNDAM FRANCHISE (1979-PRESENT) - Sandrock Custom Original Production Cel - An original production cel featuring the Sandrock Custom, one of the most recognisable mobile suits from Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz. The film marked the end of the original Wing storyline and brought closure to one of the franchise's most internationally beloved entries. It also represents a key transitional moment in anime history, as one of the last major Gundam projects to be fully animated using traditional cel techniques before digital production took over. Cels from Endless Waltz showing the upgraded Custom units are increasingly sought after. This cel exemplifies the bold, high-contrast visual language that made Endless Waltz so iconic. Hajime Katoki's reimagined designs brought a new stylisation and flourish to the original Gundam Wing units. In particular, Sandrock Custom's sleeker profile, upgraded Heat Shotels, and broadened shoulders gave the unit a more imposing silhouette while still remaining true to Quatre Raberba Winner's original mobile suit. The Sandrock Custom is seen here mid-assault, with its Heat Shotel raised and shield arm extended. It captures the mecha's signature charge pose with an explosion of animated energy. Surrounding the Gundam is an abstract FX overlay of shattered debris and environmental energy. A dramatic visual used in 1990s anime to heighten the force of Sandrock's movement, bursting outward as if from the moment of impact. "C/2" is handwritten in the top right corner. Dimensions: 23 cm x 27 cm (9" x 10.75")Sold without copyright; see copyright notice in the Buyer's Guide.VAT Status: M
FANTASIA (1940) - Mickey Mouse "Sorcerer's Apprentice" Model Cel - A rare model cel of Mickey Mouse as the Sorcerer's Apprentice, one of the most enduring images in Disney history, from the landmark animated feature Fantasia. The film was one of the first features to combine classical music with hand-drawn animation in an ambitious, abstract, and cinematic experiment that pushed the limits of animation as a fine art. While indistinguishable from screen-used production cels, this example is believed to have been created as a model cel, a reference piece used by animators or the ink and paint department to maintain consistency in character design and colour across multiple scenes. Model cels from Fantasia are exceptionally scarce, and this piece radiates the magic and innovation that made the film a technical marvel of its time. This hand-inked and hand-painted cel captures the moment Mickey turns to grab the iconic blue hat from the unforgettable "Sorcerer's Apprentice" sequence. Mickey's expression, gesture, and red apprentice robe are rendered in full classic detail, carefully trimmed, and applied to a richly toned hand-painted presentation background evocative of the film's moody, mystical setting. The quality of the brushwork and colour layering across both cel and background is exceptional. Dimensions: 33 cm x 33 cm (13" x 13")Sold without copyright; see copyright notice in the Buyer's Guide. This item will ship from our LA facilityVAT Status: US
