Brunel passed away before the house was completed and the property and surrounding lands were eventually acquired by James Crompton in 1873, when it was re-named Watcombe Park. Condition ReportSome rubbing, wear, scuffs and abrasions to the globe paper, which appears to be a mid-19th century update to the earlier globe and stand. Tarnish and discolouration to the brass. Chips and losses to the paper of the horizon ring. Globe revolves freely. General surface wear, small knocks and splits to the stand, with two small brackets lacking. Repairs to the legs. Joints are sound and solid.

Asprey of London silver and enamel sewing set, in fitted case, the scissors, thimble and needlecase with floral decoration on a pale blue ground with a silver bodkin needle With some brusing and minimal staining to the enamel on the scissors in places. Also, to the needle case, most notably on the lid near the join. Some tarnish and discolouration in places. Bodkin needle is slightly bent. Minimal wear to the scissors, they do cut but slighlty mis-shapen/not alligned.

Gross weight 97g. It appears when viewed from the back that two links have been added and that they may possibly have been the matching earrings? The gold is slightly more yellow than the rest of the necklace that has a more rosey colour.

Condition report:Please see further images.We do not have the service paperwork, It was sent back to Patek in 2019 and it was away in all for 2 years at a cost of £2623. It was never worn once it came back. There are a few small nicks on the edge of the case back, please see images.
