Registration – 8751 PGChassis No. – C-A257-384255M.O.T. – ExemptOdometer – 90,999‘8751 PG’ is a stunning example of the fabled MKI Austin Mini Cooper S dating from 1963. Austin factory records confirm ‘8751 PG’ as a factory right hand drive, home market model. ‘8751 PG’ is drawn from the first of Cooper S production in 1071cc form. Around 4,000 of these were thought to be originally built and, back in 1990, the Mini Cooper Register were estimating that only around 200 remained. Undoubtably, many less likely remain in 2025. With just three keepers to date, the first owner was known to be famed Mini racer George Lawrence of Ridgeway Racing in Farnham. George was a regular on the Mini racing scene in the 1960’s and it is noted that ‘8751 PG’ was campaigned by him at numerous events during his ownership. These include known outings at Goodwood and Oulton Park (and likely others) during 1964. The current keeper acquired ‘8751 PG’ in 2023 to become its third owner and set about a thorough and diligent restoration of this historic Mini. The restoration, of which there is a photographic record, retained the original shell and was reported to cost around £35,000. The results of which you can see before you today. ‘8751 PG’ is offered complete with a fascinating, provenance providing archive of paperwork and photographs. ‘8751 PG’ is classified as an Historic Vehicle and so is MOT exempt and zero rated for road tax.‘8751 PG’ hails from the sweet spot in Mini Cooper S production with the faster, more powerful version of the Cooper released in 1963. This model featured a bigger 1071cc engine and just around 4000 were built and sold before the model was discontinued in 1964. ‘8751 PG’ retains its 1071cc engine and bigger discs compared to the Cooper and has been restored with originality in mind and without regard to expense. The vendor rates the engine, four speed transmission and electrics as “excellent.”With the MKI Mini Cooper S being such an iconic model it is thrilling to see such a well restored example. Presenting in Almond Green with an Old English White roof, ‘8751 PG’ exhibits all the familiar cues of the revolutionary Issigonis designed masterpiece in Cooper S guise. These include the Austin Cooper S badges, chromed bumpers with overriders and corner bars, and black finished Minilite alloy wheels. Like the exterior, the cabin retains a highly original persona despite its full restoration and is finished in Porcelain Green and Dove Grey vinyl. Again, the MKI Mini signatures are all here including the centrally located big Smiths speedometer and the indicator stalk with a green telltale light at the end. In keeping with a fully and expensively restored example, the vendor rates the paintwork, bodywork and interior as “excellent.”In summary:A beautifully restored example of the iconic MK Mini Cooper SSubject to a £35,000 restoration in its current ownershipComplete with a fascinating racing provenance and well known original owner
Automatic transmissionOnly 22,379 miles from newOriginal purchase invoiceThe Mini was manufactured by the British Motor Corporation (BMC) and its successors from 1959 until 2000. The original Mini is considered a British icon of the 1960s and its space-saving front wheel drive layout that allowed 80% of the area of the car's floorpan to be used for passengers and luggage influenced a generation of car makers. In 1999, the Mini was voted the second most influential car of the 20th century behind the Ford Model T. This distinctive two-door car was designed by Sir Alec Issigonis and was manufactured at the Longbridge and Cowley plants. The Mini Mk. I had three major UK updates; the Mk. II, the Clubman and the Mk. III. Within these were a series of variations including an estate car, a pick-up and a van. The Mini Cooper and Cooper 'S' were sportier versions that were successful as rally cars, winning the Monte Carlo Rally four times from 1964 through to 1967. Initially Minis were marketed under the Austin and Morris names, as the Austin Seven and Morris Mini Minor until Mini became a marque in its own right in 1969.Originally registered on 1st April 1990 this Mini Mayfair with automatic transmission has only covered 22,379 miles from new. The condition is commensurate with such a low mileage example, with the blue paintwork in good order as is the velour trim. We are advised this Mini drives well with good gear changes from the AP gearbox, an ingenious design for the time with the gearbox sitting in the sump. Supplied with a V5C registration document together with an MoT test certificate valid until 8th April 2026, the original service and handbooks, servicing invoices and the original purchase invoice. Mini Mayfairs are few and far between, a low mileage automatic example such as this is certainly a rarity. Consigned by Stewart Banks. Restored exampleSignificant works by specialist Bill RawlesThe 1957 Austin Healey 100/6 is a classic British sportscar known for its elegant styling and spirited performance. An evolution of the Austin Healey 100, the 100/6 introduced a more powerful 2.6 litre inline-six engine, delivering improved performance and smoother cruising. With its long bonnet, low stance and sleek lines, it embodied 1950s roadster charm. The 2+2 seating layout made it more versatile, while the revised chassis improved handling. Produced during the golden era of British motoring, the 100/6 was a favourite among enthusiasts for both touring and competition. Today, it's a prized collector's item, admired for its beauty and heritage.Built in 1957, this Austin Healey 100/6 is an original right hand drive example, shipped to Perth, Australia where it lived in a dry state for most of its life before shipping to the UK in 2016. The history file and maintenance record boast a good amount of detail with history tracing back to 1976. The 2.6 litre 100/6 engine was rebuilt in the 1980’s to uprate the 2.6 litres to three litres, just like a 3000 Mk. I. The car retains the original side change gearbox and was maintained by reputable Australian workshops, The Healey Factory, Melbourne where the car was purchased by the previous owner before export to the UK.Upon arrival to the UK the car was used and enjoyed before sale to the current owner. During his tenure some light restoration and remedial repair works were undertaken by marque specialists Bill Rawles. The front suspension was rebuilt, brakes overhauled, improvements to reliability were fitted in the form of alternator conversion and electronic distributor, just to name a few. The interior was professionally retrimmed in Connolly leather, including the hood and tonneau cover. The result is the stunning example here today. We are informed that following this substantial investment by the vendor that the car drives extremely well. Consigned by Dominic Lake. The Austin FX3 was introduced in 1948 and produced until 1958. Designed specifically for London's streets, the FX3 was developed by Austin in collaboration with taxi specialists Mann & Overton and coachbuilder Carbodies. It featured a 2200cc four-cylinder petrol engine, later supplemented by a more economical diesel version. Known for its distinctive pre-war styling, including flared wings and a prominent grille, the FX3 quickly became an icon of postwar London life. It had a tight turning circle tailored for the capital’s narrow streets and complied with the strict Metropolitan Police regulations for taxis. Most FX3s had an open luggage platform next to the driver, as was customary at the time. Despite its utilitarian nature, the FX3 offered solid reliability and a comfortable ride. It was eventually succeeded by the more modern FX4 in 1958, but the FX3 remains a nostalgic symbol of mid-20th-century British motoring. This particular FX3 starred in Cold War spy thriller “The Ipcress File” and is presented in really good order, it is understood the taxi was restored around 15 years ago. This is a very late FX3, registered less than a year before production ended and is powered by the robust diesel engine. This could make a really fun way to drive around London without paying the ULEZ charge, or just something to stand out from the crowd at classic car shows. Supplied to auction with a V5C registration document, some old photos and an original maintenance manual. Consigned by Fraser Smith STARRED IN THE IPCRRESS FILESGREAT CONDITION

I is presented in a two-tone colour scheme of Healey Blue over Ivory and is complemented by a dark blue interior. £14,000 restorationBespoke new leather interior and paintworkThe original Mini is considered a British icon of the 1960s and its space saving front wheel layout allowing 80% of the cars floorplan to be used for passengers and luggage, influenced a generation of car makers. In 1999, the Mini was voted the second most influential car of the 20th century behind the Ford Model T. Initially Minis were marketed under the Austin and Morris names until Mini became a marque in its own right in 1969. The Mini was again marketed under the Austin name in the 1980s and was offered in a number of limited editions that usually included a special combination of trim and badging. This is a seriously cool 1994 Rover Mini Cooper JCW homage with upgrades that will turn heads. It is finished in metallic dark brown with an incredibly unique leather interior which matches the cars exterior very well. It was subject to a £14,000 restoration about 10 years ago and still looks fantastic today, with the ubiquitous white stripes on the bonnet showing John Cooper’s signature which is synonymous with the JCW Mini and the ‘Union Jack’ on the roof – the paintwork looks great! This Mini is really fun to drive and has a go-kart feel along with its peppy 1.3-litre engine and four-speed manual gearbox, with sports wheels to match. The interior smells of new leather and with its unique exterior paintwork and bespoke leather interior, this Rover Mini Cooper stands out from the rest.
