There are some handling marks to the gilt-plated mounts and some marks and tiny pinholes to the glass, only visible upon very close inspection. Subject to this, the lot presents well.
Six glass figural knife rests, probably Baccarat, early 20th century, each modelled with two putti busts, 10cm W x 3cm D x 5cm (6) (at fault) NOTE: Knife rests of this design appear in the 1903/4 Baccarat catalogue (model S.503) CONDITION REPORT:One rest shows a chip to the foot approximately 12mm wide, and nibbles to the shoulders of the putti. One shows a shallow chip approximately 5mm long to the central rail. The other four show the odd nibble to the shoulders of the putti. All show age-related surface wear.
