WW1 Imperial German Model 1898/05 Butcher Sawback Bayonet by Waffenfabrik Mauser AG A good example, single edged blade widening to the point with rear sawback edge. The forte stamped with maker details, the back edge with issue stamps for 1917. Steel turn up quillon, with wooden ribbed slab grips to the hilt.
