Registration – P952 HAOChassis No. – SALLDVA67VA123458M.O.T. – March 2026Odometer – 159,000‘P952 HAO’ has been in the ownership of the current vendor since May 2022, with him becoming this 90-inch’s sixth keeper at that stage. Hailing from 1997, this defender is fitted with the 2.5-litre 300Tdi engine which was an all-new unit first used in 1994. In current ownership, ‘P952 HAO’ has been serviced by the owner and much time and money has been expended maintaining the condition and usability of this Defender. ‘P952 HAO’ is offered here with a long MOT with validity until March 2026, two keys and a brand new spare tyre. Here is your chance to acquire an example of the perennially popular Defender in optimally practical van sided configuration.‘P952 HAO’ presents in non-standard Kiwi Green which represents an eye-catching update from its original blue livery. There are numerous black accents in evidence, including the roof panel and front bumper, and the Land Rover presents in a de-badged condition. A capacious, black painted alloy, safari style roof rack is fitted together with a rear access ladder. Access aiding side steps are also fitted. The cabin is usual Defender fare, which means charming utility and admiral practicality. This is finished in black and green predominantly. The vendor rates the bodywork and interior as “good,” and the paintwork as “average.”‘P952 HAO’ is fitted with well-respected 2.5-litre 300TDi turbo-diesel engine which was originally rated at around 111bhp. This is mated to the five speed manual transmission transferring power to the permanent four wheel drive system. All the usual off road paraphernalia is present including locking diffs and high / low transfer box. ‘P952 HAO’ benefits from the fitment of a galvanised chassis, a new clutch, radiator, exhaust, fuel pump and brake servo. All mechanical systems are vendor rated as “good.”In summary:A good looking Defender 90 in an interesting liveryA low owner example of this iconic off-roader with a galvanised chassisCompete with many new components and a long MOT

Registration – LNV 676LChassis No. – 2B1194BWM.O.T. – ExemptOdometer – 59,765‘LNV676L’ is a very rare iteration of Sir William Lyons’ swansong – the XJ saloon. Being a Series I range topping V12 Vanden Plas model this car is one of just 351 originally built making it the rarest model from this first series of luxury saloons. ‘LNV676L’ is described as a non-running barn find and so offers an enticing opportunity to bring this rarest of models up to its former glory. With just six former keepers, the vendor acquired this survivor car around 4 years ago and it has been stored ever since. The Smiths odometer reads a shade under 60,000 miles which isn’t warranted but seems believable. ‘LNV676L’ is revealed as a long wheelbase version – 4 inches longer – by its chassis number which also confirms it as the 193rd of 351 made. Back in 1973 this car would have provided a viable alternative to a Rolls-Royce, Bentley or top of the range Mercedes-Benz. This car comes from the large private collection of an individual enthusiast and is offered here with NO RESERVE.The Daimler Double Six Vanden Plas Series I was only built for one year between September 1972 and September 1973, hence making it a very low volume and rarely seen model. This barn find example exhibits all the Series I cues including the deep, forward raked grill, vinyl roof and the special gunmetal finished, pressed steel wheels with Daimler chrome hubcaps. Even the original twin driving lights above the front bumper are still present. As a true Rolls-Royce alternative, the Vandan Plas was awash with rare refinements for 1973. This includes seating faced with leather to a special Vanden Plas design. Air-conditioning, a radio/stereo tape or 8 track (as included here) player with electric aerial and 4 speakers, remote-controlled driver’s door mirror, electric windows, heated rear window, reading lamps for rear passengers and red warning lights fitted to all doors were all standard and remain present here. ‘LNV676L’s’ paintwork, bodywork and interior are all described as “average.”The Series I Double Six, a Daimler model name last used in the mid 1920’s, provided the first saloon outing for the esteemed 5.3-litre V12 engine. It also made it the first mass production V12 saloon and simultaneously the "fastest full four-seater available in the world." In this early application the V12 was fitted with four carburettors and originally produced a bountiful 309bhp. This is mated to a Type 12 Borg Warner three speed automatic gearbox. ‘LNV676L’ is classed as a non-runner with the engine and electrics classed as “poor” and the transmission as “average.”In summary:A barn find example of the very rare Series I Daimler Double Six Vanden PlasPresents in a highly original and seemingly complete conditionOffering great potential for improvement and restoration

Registration – K481 XNXChassis No. – SAJJNAED3EJ185640M.O.T. – October 2025Odometer – 120,000‘K481XNX’ is fine looking example of a Jaguar XJS Coupe in one of its most sought after guises. Under Ford ownership the sporting flagship was significantly revised to prolong its growing popularity. As such, ‘‘K481XNX’ exhibits all the 1991 facelift improvements as well as being powered by the much admired 4.0-litre AJ6, straight six power plant. This is considered by many in the know as offering the best combination of refinement, power and economy. Acquired by its current keeper in January 2024, ‘K481XNX’ has been part of his large private collection ever since. ‘K481XNX’ is fitted with a desirable TWR body kit and comes complete with an extensive paperwork archive including £10,000 worth of invoices and the original book pack. With a valid advisory free MOT until October this year and a striking and popular livery, ‘K481XNX’ is ready to drive, relish and enjoy being seen in.‘K481XNX’ presents in the perennially popular and head turning Flamenco Red hue. This is further enhanced by a striking TWR body kits which adds a bespoke front bumper, side skirts and a more prominent boot spoiler. A set of Jaguar, five spoke alloy wheels are also fitted. The beautifully appointed cabin complements this livery perfectly with its ample magnolia hides and accompanying cloths and carpets in similar tones. The vendor rates the bodywork and paintwork as “good,” and the interior as “average.”In the case of ‘K481XNX,’ the AJ6 4-litre straight six engine is mated to the four speed ZF automatic transmission. This configuration was originally rated at 245bhp and 289 Ib-ft or torque making ‘K481XNX’ an accomplished long distance GT car with an impressive turn of speed when called upon. The vendor reports ‘K481XNX’ to run very well and judges all its mechanical systems as “good.” In short, a desirable example of a Jaguar coupe whose stock is now very much on the rise.In summary:· Highly original, eye catching and presentable condition· Post facelift model in a desirable and popular livery complete with TWR upgrades· Complete with plenty of accompanying paperwork and a current MOT

Registration – R778 PHGChassis No. – GC8-058213M.O.T. – April 2025Odometer – 127,000KM (78,914M)This fully restored 1997 Subaru Impreza WRX STI Type RA has been owned by the vendor for the past seven years. During this time, they say it has received a full engine rebuild, with the flat-four motor, transmission and electrics all now described as being in ‘excellent’ condition. The rear arches have been resprayed, along with the front and rear bumper, with bodywork and paintwork now said to be in ‘good’ condition. The interior is also ‘excellent’, with a reconditioned driver’s seat.As a Japanese domestic market special, ‘R778PHG’ was imported from Japan in late 2008. The car is UK-registered and the V5 is present. The car also has a plentiful history file from its current ownership. It has an odometer reading 127,000km, which is around 79,000 miles. The vendor adds it has an original spare wheel, original Subaru pouch and toolkit, two keys and two alarm fobs. The Subaru Impreza WRX was made famous by Colin McRae’s WRC exploits behind the wheel of a Prodrive-prepared rally car. The exuberant Scot helped put the car on the map – and the fact it delivered exceptional performance, engaging handling and superb reliability for a strikingly affordable price meant a waiting list soon built. Even today, it will feel fast and thrilling, aided by grippy all-wheel drive. The STI was a high-performance WRX, for rally homologation, that was originally only offered in the Japanese home market. STI stands for Subaru Tecnica International. Compared to the WRX, they had blueprinted engines, transmission and suspension, along with more power. Type RA models took things a stage further – they were stripped-back editions designed for competition use, with less weight, a close-ratio gearbox and clever Driver Controlled Centre Differential, or DCCD. They were built on an order-only basis and are now extremely rare and collectable. In summary:Rare and collectable 1997 Subaru Impreza WRX STI Type RAFull engine rebuild means flat-four is now in ‘excellent’ conditionComes with plenty of history from current ownership

Registration – SV57 LODChassis No. – WF03XXGCD37E84462M.O.T. – March 2026Odometer – 78,657The Focus ST was considered a worthy addition to the hot hatch hall of fame when it was launched in the mid 2000’s. The key challenge, today, is finding one in broadly original specification, however. ‘SV57 LOD’ fits that desirable bill very well, with just its wheels noted as straying from factory specification. With just four former keepers to date and an indicated mileage of a shade over 78,000 miles covered, ‘SV57 LOD’ represents an increasingly rare find. ‘SV57 LOD’ additionally boasts a full independent service history and is compete with a long MOT valid until March 2026. Described by the vendor as running and driving really well, ‘SV57 LOD’ is offered here with NO RESERVE.The Ford Focus ST soon became much admired for blending all the standard car’s family saloon practicality with a 150mph technical specification, all for under £20,000 back in 2006. ‘SV57 LOD’ remains a faithful representation of the original concept in an eye catching red livery. The ST’s external cues include the more aggressive front bumper, mesh grill and distinctive twin tail pipes. The cabin, whilst retaining the legendary Focus practicality, got an upgrade courtesy of Recaro produced front seats, a chunky ST steering wheel and the addition of three auxiliary gauges atop the dashboard. The vendor rates the bodywork, paintwork and interior as “good” overall. With Ford also owning Volvo at the time of the ST’s introduction, the five cylinder, 2.5-litre turbocharged T5 engine was borrowed from the Swedish firm for service in the Focus. Ford made some alterations to the unit resulting in a characterful sounding and gutsy unit delivering 222bhp and 320 NM of torque in original form. A six speed manual gearbox fed power to the front wheels. ‘SV57 LOD’ has reportedly been well maintained throughout its life with all mechanical aspects of the ST being rated as “good.” A highly original example of hot hatch royalty offered with no reserve. An enticing opportunity. In summary:A low mileage, low owner example of this example of noughties hot hatch heroPresenting in a rarely seen, highly original specification and conditionComplete with a full, independent service history and long MOT

Registration – BU64 ZBCChassis No. – 1FA6P8CF5F5317469M.O.T. – September 2025Odometer – 37,702‘BU64 ZBC’ represents the archetypal Pony Car in its eye catching deep blue livery and well-chosen aesthetic enhancements. ‘BU64 ZBC’ is an early sixth-generation model and has been in its current ownership since August 2018 when the Mustang was imported to the UK. At that point, ‘BU64 ZBC’ had covered around 27,500 miles. Around 10,000 miles have been covered since then. Some well-chosen modifications have been made to this Mustang with highlights include a ram air bonnet, window louvres, a Roush grill and upgraded front and rear spoilers. This optimally specified 5-litre, V8, manual, left hand drive Mustang holds an advisory free MOT until September 2025.‘BU64 ZBC’ comes complete with the ideal Pony Car mechanical specification. This centres around the 5-litre, small block “Coyote” V8 engine paired with a Tremec six speed TR-3160 transmission. ‘BU64 ZBC’ even comes complete with a raft of performance and track related switchable modes – Sports, Comfort and Track. An optional Track Pack is also fitted which comprises launch control, line lock and lap timer. The raw numbers are equally impressive. An original output of 435 bhp and 400 Ib-ft of torque helped deliver a sub-five second 0-60mph time and a 155 mph top speed. The mechanical facets of ‘BU64 ZBC’ are vendor rated as “excellent.”The vendor describes ‘BU64 ZBC’ as a “really nice example” and exhibits all the hallmarks of a well-loved companion. The Deep Impact Blue Metallic paintwork and underlying bodywork look good overall with the vendor rating them as “average.” Subtle enhancements include that Cervini Ram air hood, SpeedForm window louvres, Roush front grill and bumper, an MP Concepts rear spoiler and an RTR rear diffuser. A staggered set of black finished 20-inch, black finished Inovit Thrust alloy wheels are fitted. The sporting cabin is predominantly finished in black leather, presents very well with it rated as “good.” All in all, ‘BU64 ZBC’ represents an impressively powerful and nicely enhanced example of the well-respected sixth-generation Mustang. In summary:A stunning looking example of the desirable 2015 Mustang GTA low mileage for its age and just one UK keeper to dateComplete with some costly and desirable premium aesthetic enhancements

The second generation of the Volkswagen Golf was launched in Europe at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 1983, with sales beginning in its homeland and most other left hand drive markets soon after. It debuted in March 1984 on the right-hand drive British market. It was Volkswagen's highest volume seller from 1983 and ended production in late 1992, to be replaced by the Golf Mk. III. The Mk. II was larger than the Mk. I; its wheelbase grew slightly by three inches, as did exterior dimensions length 7.1 inches, width 2.2 inches, and height 0.2 inches. Weight was up accordingly by about 260lbs. Exterior design, developed in-house by Volkswagen design director Schäfer, kept the general lines of its Giugiaro-designed predecessor, but was slightly more rounded. The Mk. II was supplied with a wider range of engine options, including a GTD turbo diesel using the 1.6 ‘umwelt’ (ECO) diesel engine, a DOHC 1781cc 16-valve version of the straight-four GTi as well as the tried and tested 1781cc 8v GTi. All told, about 6.3 million second-generation Golfs were built. This lovely example of a Golf GTi 16V was first registered on 2nd September 1991 and presents very well in Tornado Red with Rainbow Grey interior. Interested parties should note, this car was subject to a Category N insurance claim in May 2024 due to light vandal damage, which has now been corrected. The cooling system has recently been overhauled and new braided fuel lines fitted, a stainless-steel exhaust system has also been fitted. Clearly this has been a well looked after example, confirmed by the fact, according to the vendor it drives with no known faults. The engine started immediately when requested and the gearbox operates smoothly and efficiently. Electric windows, a sunroof and power steering are all good features on this three-door Mk. II Golf. Given that the value of similar models has seen a recent rise and considering the delightful condition of this 16 valve GTi it deserves strong consideration by enthusiasts. Supplied with a V5C registration document, a full years MoT test certificate together with a collection of invoices. Consigned by Stewart Banks. In 2003, Jaguar introduced the re-engineered and newly designed third generation of the XJ, continuing with the XJ8 model designation. It featured an all-aluminium body and chassis, a new V8 engine, as well as greater interior and luggage spaces. It was the first Jaguar XJ to be completely designed under Ford ownership and used electronics and computer-controlled systems sourced through existing partner suppliers or directly produced by Ford. The V8 engine was offered in larger 3.5 and 4.2 litre displacements as well as in a supercharged variation. A new six-speed automatic gearbox was fitted which was lighter and offered better economy with lock-up on all gears and a larger spread of ratios. Air suspension was fitted at the front and rear, providing adaptive damping as well as rear self-levelling with computer-controlled ride height and suspension mode. Jaguar launched the X358 facelift to the X350 at the end of February 2007 with a revised lower grille, prominent faux side air vents, small boot lid spoiler, and revised seating. A Jaguar emblem within the grille replaced the previous bonnet-mounted mascot. The front lights were revised and door mirrors incorporated side repeaters. The side sills, rear bumper, and taillights were revised while the interior featured redesigned front seats. This stunning example of a facelift 57 plate 4.2 litre V8 XJR was first registered on 29th September 2007, it is presented in black coachwork with a contrasting tan full leather interior. Specified with heated and ventilated seats and offered with an MoT test certificate until November 2026 and two keys. The cars part service history is coupled to recent invoices detailing a raft of maintenance spanning the past three years with circa £10,000 of bills with a Jaguar specialist and has been treated to a recent service. These are fabulous motorcars, 400bhp, 0-60 in five seconds with luxury and style, this example is a future classic and a current favourite of ours. • Fitted with a V8 engine• Has power steering fitted• Chrome bumper conversionThe MGB was first introduced in May 1962 as a direct replacement for the MGA. Ken Costello saw the possibility of fitting the larger aluminium 3528cc Rover P5B engine into the MGB GT having been sure that the handling and braking could be made to match the much-improved performance; not that it needed significant changes as the V8 weighed in at around 40 pounds lighter than the four-cylinder iron blocked engine it replaced. Space was not a problem as the car had originally been designed for fitment of a V4 that was never produced. It was not until two years after the first Costello car that MG decided to follow suit. Due to their popularity and reliability, the club support is excellent with many still on the road especially as their fixedhead cousins are still very affordable. This 1979 registered MGB was originally built for the U.S. and was repatriated to the U.K. in 1997. Upon arrival in the U.K. this MGB Roadster was stripped and restored. It was changed to right hand drive guise and a V8 engine from a Rover SD1 fitted. A great addition to this lovely MGB is power steering and chrome bumpers. It was repainted in Aston Martin Tudor Green which is complemented by a black interior. Whilst probably not for the purest, this MGB Roadster is a great specification and offers plenty of fun. Supplied with a V5C registration document and a current MoT test certificate valid until 1st April 2026 (with no advisories). A comprehensive history folder accompanies this Roadster. MGs’ are well supported by several specialists resulting in a motorcar that is, not only straight forward to maintain but also great fun to drive. Lot 183

A limited-edition Roadster Coupé Racing edition (RCR) was released in 2005 in the UK. Only 50 in the world were made and featured all the Brabus trimmings plus special black Alcantara and leather seats with red diamond pattern stitching. The seats were not heated as they are in the main Brabus model. The black Alcantara and red stitching are also featured on the dash and door panels. Interior door handles and clock surrounds were finished in red to match the exterior paintwork. Each comes with a numbered plaque on the glovebox - stating the build number - RCR UK #/50. These cars were finished in Ferrari Red with matching light surrounds and bumper sections, the Tridion safety cell being all silver. They were made to look like the V6 bi-turbo and came with a free optional SB2 power upgrade kit for the engine, which raised the standard 80bhp to 90bhp. The reason they were not fitted with the 101 PS engine is that the cars came off the production line in 2004 as normal 80 PS engine roadsters before being given the Brabus makeover. The SB2 upgrade was optional to allow customers the option for lower insurance and road tax/CO2 emissions. So, some RCRs did not have the SB2 upgrade carried out when new. There were 50 right hand drive cars (RCR 90) built especially for the UK with the SB2 kit and 90hp. This lovely example of this rare model is number 21 of 50 made in right hand drive and it is presented in the celebratory red/silver with black/red interior as stated above. The car comes with some service history with the last two services carried out by a Smart specialist in Guildford. It has a Thatcham alarm, two alarm fobs, two sets of keys and all the relevant handbooks which can be found in the folder. This superb Roadster coupé is great fun, practical and so cool! Enjoy! Lot 45

Registration No: VHJ 461H Chassis No: 1R35598 MOT: Exempt1 of just 1,040 RHD home-market examples builtMatching chassis, engine and gearbox numbersExtensive mechanical improvement while in the vendor's ownership to the sum of c.£10,000Pleasingly unmolested and original specification, and finished in its original colour scheme of Signal Red with Black interiorSupplied with a history file including the Heritage CertificateTriumphantly unveiled at the 1961 Geneva Motor Show, the Jaguar E-Type created a furore thanks to its supercar performance, stunning looks and modest price tag. Early racing success at the hands of Graham Hill and Roy Salvadori amongst others helped cement the newcomer's reputation. Built as a monocoque with an engine-cradling front sub-frame, the E-type's combination of all-round independent suspension and disc brakes allied to rack-and-pinion steering resulted in excellent road-holding and handling capabilities. Introduced in 1968, the Series II cars were distinguishable by their revised bumper and light arrangements. Less noticeable was the increased size of the front air intake that in conjunction with dual cooling fans made the Series II better behaved in hot weather and heavy traffic. With its 4235cc engine developing a quoted 265bhp and 283lbft of torque, it was reputedly capable of nearly 150mph and 0-60mph in 7.5 seconds. The range expanded with a 2+2 derivative joining the Coupe and Roadster and evolved through steady stages until the final Series 3 V12s bowed out in 1975.1 of just 1,040 RHD home-market examples built, this 2+2 was manufactured on the 19th of September 1969 and was supplied new by Henlys of London to its first owner, F R Lockett, through Abbott Motors. Finished from the factory in Signal Red paintwork and Black leather interior upholstery, chassis 1R35598 is pleasingly still presented in the original colour scheme today. Boasting being in its original specification including the original wheels and being sunroof free, the E-Type features the desirable manual gearbox, and a matching chassis, engine, and gearbox numbers example too! In previous long-term ownership from 1995, the Jaguar was lavished with a comprehensive restoration in 2000 including a full engine overhaul by VSE (Jaguar specialist). More recently benefitting from a substantial bodywork restoration in 2009, the E-Type was provided with new sills, door skins, complete respray, and all internal areas protective coated.Purchased by the vendor in 2016, during this ownership ‘VHJ 461H’ has benefited from an extensive mechanical restoration, following on from the previous engine overhaul, with some £10,000 worth of expenditure. The work completed has included complete overhaul of the IRS (independent rear suspension) and IRS frame sandblasted and stove enamelled; full gearbox overhaul by Klassic Transmissions; all new clutch and accompanied parts; new wheel bearings; full suspension overhaul with extensive new parts including shock absorbers; renewed brake system with overhauled callipers and new pads, brake hoses, and pipes; prop shaft overhaul with new UJs; new master and slave cylinder; new stainless steel exhaust system; new Hi-Torque starter motor; steel heating pipes (from bulkhead behind dash) replaced; all wheels blasted stove enamelled and fitted new original size Pirelli Tyres; and ignition switch and steering lock renewed.Supplied with a history file that includes the Jaguar Heritage Certificate; a vast collection of previous invoices; numerous past MOT certificates and tax discs; a service manual; a parts catalogue; and a current V5C document, the E-Type also has its Jaguar tool roll. Matching numbers, original colour combination, and the desirable manual gearbox, for those looking for an unmolested UK-car, this has got to be worth considering! With less than 8,000 miles covered since the full engine overhaul, and the mechanicals extensively further sorted in the vendor's ownership, 1R35598 is ready for pressing into use with a new custodian. Lot 120

Registration No: VSV 526 Chassis No: 1210426503065 MOT: ExemptSubject to a complete body and mechanical overhaul during the 2010sPresented in the desirable colour scheme of Mercedes Silver over a Dark Blue leather interiorRecently subject to mechanical recommissioning after a period of dry storageSupplied with matching body-colour genuine hardtopThe 190SL was introduced in 1955 – the year Mercedes swept all before it on the Mille Miglia with the 300SLR. Indeed, the graceful convertible grand tourer was sold alongside the road-going version of the SLR – the 300SL - whose styling it strongly resembled. In fact, the underpinnings of the two cars were quite different and, while the 300SL had a purpose-built tubular spaceframe (W198), its smaller sibling was built on a shortened version of the ‘Ponton’ saloon (W121) platform, which was of monocoque construction. The 190SL also boasted an all-new engine - an over-square SOHC straight-four unit of 1897cc that produced some 120bhp, which was sufficient to propel the car to a maximum speed of 112mph. The engine was coupled to a manual four-speed gearbox. The suspension comprised double wishbones and coil springs at the front and a coil-sprung swing axle at the rear. Steering was by recirculating ball and braking by power-assisted drums all round. Built to the highest standards and among the quickest comparable cars of the time, the 190SL featured a well-appointed cockpit, notable comfort for its occupants and relatively generous luggage space. The 190SL continued in production until 1963, when both it and the 300SL were replaced by the 230SL (W113). By this time 25,881 190SLs had been produced.According to build records on file, chassis 1210426503065 was despatched from the factory on the 14th July 1956 and originally painted in White, with black leather upholstery. Little is known of the early history of the two-seater, however it is known that the car was first delivered to the German home market before being registered in the Netherlands in 1968, where it was to remain until 2015 when it was imported to the UK by the previous owner. Upon arrival on UK shores, the 190SL was given the registration number ‘VSV 526’ by the DVLA and it is understood that it was around this time that the car was treated to a complete cosmetic and mechanical refresh and was repainted in the very attractive Mercedes Silver-Grey over Dark Blue Leather livery that it presents in today. A bill on file from Red Castle Classics of Caerphilly dating to 2019 evidences the fitment of a new mohair hood, painting of the hub caps and a major service which included setting valve clearances. The vendor acquired ‘VSV 526’ in 2022 after having spent over a year searching for the ‘right’ car and having viewed at least 10 examples. A now semi-retired master mechanic, the vendor was very specific about the car retaining a certain amount of originality and that the bodywork had to be in his view ‘tip-top’. Having found the Roadster, he purchased it with the view that he would be able to complete small mechanical tasks where necessary and use it during the summer months. Unfortunately, due to the vendor’s busy lifestyle, the 190SL has been sat relatively unused in his dry garage since acquisition and having performed minor tasks to improve the car and set it up ‘as well as it can be’, an imminent house move has taken priority, and it has been decided that the car should now find a new home.Upon inspection, it was noted that this example of Mercedes’ baby-roadster is certainly a very good-looking example, and the colour scheme has been particularly well chosen. Still running on the original twin Solex carburettors, it was noted during our short run to the photography session that the car was particularly pleasant to drive and resultingly evoked nostalgic thoughts of 1950’s and 60’s sunny Hollywood, where so many of these cars found favour with the moving picture stars of the time. The vendor’s opinion of the car is that it is ‘very good all round’ and pointed out only minor imperfections to us such as a small pinhole in the rear bumper that was chromed over, although this does evidence the car’s originality. The appeal of the 190SL has never faded and ‘VSV 526’ is now offered by the vendor having had some mechanical improvements ready for the H&H Duxford sale on April 9th. Offered complete with a hard to find body-coloured hardtop, the history file is complete with UK V5C, import paperwork and a photocopy of the aforementioned Mercedes-Benz build record. Lot 8

Registration No: REY 755K Chassis No: 1L21472DM MOT: March 2026Just 29,000 recorded and believed genuine milesEarly features such as 1 piece rear bumper, Chrome gauge surrounds, and rear reflectorsDesirable manual gearbox example with overdriveOffered with a large history file including the original book pack"If you do not intend to buy an XJ6, don't try one, for ordinary cars will be spoilt for you thereafter. This is a very special kind of motoring" Autosport, 06/08/1970).Introduced in September 1968, the Jaguar XJ6 was an automotive exemplar of the saying that a whole can be greater than the sum of its parts. There was nothing radically new about the model's four-door monocoque bodyshell, all-round independent suspension, power assisted rack and pinion steering or four-wheel disc brakes, and yet it effectively moved the goalposts of luxury car design. Another of Sir William Lyons' stylistic masterpieces, its bluff radiator grille, slim-pillared glasshouse, pronounced belt line and quad headlights gave presence aplenty. Powered by a choice of 4.2 litre or 2.8 litre straight-six XK engines allied to either four-speed manual plus overdrive or automatic transmission, the XJ6 was a strong performer (though, the smaller-engined variant felt somewhat less powerful than its 1.4 litre deficit suggested). Belying the saloon's exterior dimensions, the cabin felt reassuringly cocooning thanks in part to a generous transmission tunnel. Hailed by Sir William Lyons as "the best Jaguar ever" during a series of 1969 television adverts, the first generation XJ6 won that year’s ‘Car of The Year’ award and remained in production until 1973.Chassis ‘1L21472DM’ was manufactured in 1971, being first road registered on the 8th of October that year as ‘EOO 71’. Boasting early features such as the single-piece rear bumper, chrome gauge surrounds, and rear reflectors, the Jaguar also benefits from being a desirable manual gearbox example with overdrive. Supplied new to a Mr Norman Owen of Bangor, he covered some 19,500 miles during the first several years of the Jaguar's life, before laying up the car for approximately four years due to the soaring petrol prices of the late 1970s. Pressed back into service in the fuel price stability of the 1980s, the XJ6 reached some 20,000 miles before a valve dropped through a piston. Thereafter fitted with a new engine by the Automobile Palace of Anglesey (supplied by Jaguar at the cost of £800), shortly afterwards Mr Owens sold the Jaguar to its second keeper. Used sparingly by the second keeper covering a further 3,000 miles, the third owner purchased ‘1L21472DM’ in 1988, again only using the Jaguar for minimal mileage with some 2,000 miles covered in 18 months, with all three of the first owners residing in North Wales. The previous owner then acquired ‘1L21472DM’ in 1990, again a resident of Anglesey, lavishing it with an extensive restoration. Entering the vendor's custodianship in 2020 and therefore leaving life in North Wales for the first time, ‘REY 755K’ is offered with only 29,000 recorded and believed genuine miles on the odometer, making a mere 9,000 miles on the ‘new’ engine fitted in the 1980s. Accompanied by a history file that contains the original Operations, Maintenance and Service manual, wiring diagram, lubrication chart and original sales literature, as well as a collection of previous MOTs and ownership history. In the vendor's ownership, the Jaguar has benefitted from £1,800 worth of improvement in 2020 with new front brake pads, front wheel bearings, ball joints, new tyres, and wheels balanced, as well as a new master cylinder and brake servo in 2021, and refreshed starting equipment. Offered with an MOT certificate until March 2026, this low mileage and five-owner example which has resided in North Wales for most of its life, boasts a barely ‘run-in’ engine on mileage and the desirable manual gearbox with overdrive! Lot 130

Registration No: BL53 PXR Chassis No: SALLDVB573A665645 MOT: November 2025Rare to find G4 Limited Edition model on a 90 inch chassisFour keepers from new with the current owner since 2019The Land Rover was launched in 1948 and, incredibly, production of the traditional Defender only finished in January 2016 after a continuous run of 67 years. Outwardly, there is little to distinguish the post-1983 vehicles from the Series III Land Rover. Internally, coil springs offered a more comfortable ride and a permanent four-wheel-drive system derived from the Range Rover featuring a two-speed transfer gearbox with a lockable centre differential. A modernised interior and a new series of progressively more powerful and modern engine characterised things under the skin. The Defender was fitted with an all-new 2.5-litre, five-cylinder in-line turbo/diesel engine and is mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The G4 Limited Edition vehicles were launched to celebrate Land Rover's inaugral G4 Challenge event that took place in 2003, which demonstrated the successes of all of the models available during that year. Each of the models (Range Rover, Discovery and Defender) had a G4 Edition model and each were equipped with several 'expedition' options in-keeping with the event. These features included A-frame front protection bars, a partial external roll cage over the front cab section, front and rear light guards, black steel chequer plate cladding, and an NAS rear step/bumper. Externally, the G4 Limited Edition was also equipped with 16-inch ‘Boost’ alloy wheels and electric front windows, a heated rear screen and air conditioning.First registered on the 9th December 2003, this desirable G4 Limited Edition Defender was specified with a 90” chassis in the desirable colour combination of Black paintwork over a Black leather interior. Owned by three previous keepers, the vendor acquired the Land Rover in 2019 and has used it regularly whilst keeping it well maintained. The vendor states that he has receipts on file for the maintenance performed, which has included the replacement of the turbo and a new clutch within his ownership, plus work to the rear crossmember for the most recent MOT in November 2024.Now offered for sale as the vendor feels that it has become surplus to requirements, ‘BL53 PXR’ is displaying just over 139,000 miles on the odometer and is said to be in ‘very good’ condition all round by the vendor. Lot 127

Registration No: Y937 UOW Chassis No: WP0ZZZ99Z15682231 MOT: June 2025Just 79,000 miles from newDesirable UK-supplied 'C16' exampleWell maintained example including recent full suspension overhaul by Centre GravityLarge history file including the book pack with stamped service book documenting strong service historyBenefitting from the X50 brake upgradeIntroduced in 1999, the 996-generation of Porsche's evergreen 911 was styled by Pinky Lai. Boasting a monocoque bodyshell that was some forty-five percent stiffer yet lighter than that of its predecessor, the newcomer also boasted improved aerodynamics and a more ergonomic interior. Perhaps best known for its switch from air- to water-cooling, the standard 996 had some well publicised engine woes. The exception to the rule was the Turbo variant which used an evolution of the Le Mans-winning (and nigh-on bombproof) Mezger flat-six. Displacing some 3.6 litres when fitted to the 996 Turbo, this fearsome powerplant developed a quoted 414bhp and 413lbft of torque. Allied to either six-speed manual or five-speed Tiptronic transmission, it reputedly enabled the 2+2-seater to accelerate from 0-60mph in 3.9 seconds and on to 189mph. With four-wheel drive, Porsche Stability Management and brutally effective four-wheel ABS disc brakes, the flagship 911 was among the very fastest `A-to-B' cars that money could buy. An altogether more brutish looking machine than its normally aspirated siblings, the 996 Turbo sported gaping air intakes to its front bumper, bi-xenon headlights, flared rear wheel arches, 18in alloys and a jutting rear spoiler.A desirable UK-supplied 'C16' example that was manufactured in 2001, chassis ‘5682231’ was first registered on the 1st of March 2001 and finished from the factory in Seal Grey metallic paintwork with a full leather Graphite Grey interior upholstery. Specified from new with aluminium gear selector, alu-look instrument faces, aluminium inlay with handbrake lever, PSM CD radio and CD compartment, steering wheel paddles, and soft leather interior upholstery, the 911 was also specified with option ‘09991’, the ‘Manufacture for Exclusive - Programme’. Warranted to have covered a very modest 79,000 miles from new, the 911 Turbo has since benefitted from the fitment of the highly desirable 18-inch Turbo twist alloy wheels shod with Michelin Pilot Sport tyres and the X50 (6-pot) brake conversion upgrade completed by specialists Welsh Porsche.Looked after by Porsche specialists Autocraft (Kingclare) Ltd from 2018 until 2024, regular servicing and maintenance is documented in the history file across this period. Serviced solely by main dealers and specialists throughout its life, the service book shows eighteen stamps at 14,145; 22,681; 29,623; 32,741; 37,665; 43,916; 49,370; 53,118; 56,783; 64,557; 65,763; 66,521; 71,184; 72,196; 74,044; 75,290; 76,509; 77,775 miles, the most recent being by Autocraft in 2024, along with a further nine brake fluid changes documented. Other notable works completed have included turbo charger waste gates renewed in 2017 (less than 8,000 miles ago) by Welsh costing some £2,500, and a full suspension overhaul including Bilstein CGGT Dampers by Center Gravity in 2023 totalling some £3,500 expenditure.Starting readily upon inspection, the Turbo is offered with a history file that includes the book pack, numerous previous invoices and MOTs, a current MOT until June 2025 with no advisories, and a current V5C document. Still a phenomenally fast car and usefully more compact than its 992 equivalent, a well-sorted, 996 Turbo is a supercar to savour.
