A Caughley porcelain tea service comprising a teapot and cover, milk jug, sucrier and cover, spoon tray, waste bowl, nine teacups [one cracked], six coffee cups and eight saucers [one cracked all with stacking wear], each painted in blue and gold with six panels of flowers and foliage, each with 'S' mark, circa 1780-90.
An 18th century blue & white teapot, possibly Caughley, 16cms high; together with a Meissen teapot decorated with flowers; two continental porcelain groups, 14cms high; and a faience pottery mantle clock (5).Condition ReportThe Meissen teapot has rubbing to the gilt decoration, no chips or cracks and measures 16cms high and 25cms from tip of spout to handle. The clock has numerous losses to the glaze overall and does not appear to be in working order; there is a small chip to the top of both figures and losses to the foliate decoration. The blue & white teapot has had restorations to the spout, has a small loss to the flower finial and small chips to the underside rim to base
