ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW, THE (1975) - The Rocky Horror Picture Show Gold Disc Award Presented to Susan Sarandon - A gold disc presented to Susan Sarandon (who played the role of Janet Weiss) to commemorate the sale of more than 500,000 copies of the soundtrack for Jim Sharman's The Rocky Horror Picture Show. The large gold-coloured disc comes mounted under glass in a black frame. Below the disc is a metal plaque which states that it is a certified Ode Records sales award. Along the bottom of the display is a CD, a printed copy of the album cover, and a gold-coloured cassette. A scarce signed colour 8 x 10 photograph of Martin standing outdoors in a half-length pose behind a director´s chair, the top of which bears actor Michael Caine´s name. Signed by Martin in blue ink with his name alone to a light area of the image. A printed label neatly affixed to the verso indicates that the signature was obtained in person at a Meet the Musicians: Steve Martin & Edie Brickell event to promote the release of their music CD Love Has Come for You at the Apple Store in SoHo, New York, on 24th April 2013. Authentic signed photographs of the actor are scarce as most that are encountered are signed by secretaries on his behalf. Together with Glenne Headly (1955-2017) American actress. Signed 8 x 10 photograph of the actress standing in a half-length pose in costume as Janet Colgate from Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (1988).
