Two albums of photographs of China and Chinese life, 1920s-30sApproximately 650 silver gelatin prints with subjects including rural, city and natural views and scenes, temples and sacred sites, people, portraits and activities, taken throughout China and Tibet, all with printed captions. Each print 15cm x 10cm (6x4"). (2)Condition:No outer covers to either. Pages have some warping and many are creased at the edges. Photographs have survived reasonably well and most are in good condition, all with typical slight discolouring. Some have faded. A few are missing.

Antique Chinese Export Silver teapot and lid crafted in mixed metals, featuring a cylindrical hammered body with inlaid patinated panels and applied silver-tone filigree butterflies and floral motifs. The lid is topped with a charming sculptural finial depicting a seated monkey flanked by two frogs, adding a playful and decorative touch. The elegant curved spout and arched handle complete the piece's distinctive form. The underside bears a stamped export silver mark. The mark shows the Chinese characters (Zu Yin), indicating fine silver.
