The marks are generally clear. Further stamped underneath with maker's name. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a softening to the engraving. The wood handles have lost their finish in places and are different colours. The wood section on the finial of one is broken and partly lacking. There are various labels attached underneath.
