A 17th Century oak coffer, the quadruple panel cover above a twin panel front with carved and inlaid decoration, on stiles, 127cm wide, 54cm deep, 78cm highWear and loss to one corner of top, double panelled front with later elements, interior base replaced. Associated uprights. Al over light wear and scuffs, scratches commensurate with age and use. Likely a concoction of various 17th century and later elements.

Splits to lid, Lock section on lid missing and surrounding area with losses/damage from old worm. Area of loss to top corner of right leg which looks to be from old worm. Lock damaged. General wear and tear.
