Both vessels are decorated with traditional faience motifs in blue and white design, which were popular in folk ceramics of the 19th century.Jug: Elegant shape with a prominent handle, decorated with the Moravian rose motif, which is characteristic of the faience production of south-eastern Moravia. A rich cobalt painting with floral ornaments is complemented by a yellow line on the edge of the neck and heel. Both containers bear the hallmarks of hand-made and traditional earthenware techniques that were widespread in Moravia and Slovakia in the 19th century..Čepák: A typical bulbous container with a narrow neck and lid, intended for storing liquids.
