An early 20th century travelling / campaign cutlery set - comprising a folding steel bladed knife, silver plated fork and brass spoon with bone handles, in hinged oval-section case with purple velvet and leather lining, the pull-off lid forming a cup, 9.8cm high, the corkscrew on the back of the fork a/f.
A mid-18th century opaque twist engraved wine glass, possibly Jacobite - circa 1765, the ogee bowl engraved with a rose bud spray, on a double-series opaque twist stem with a pair of spiral threads around a central corkscrew, on a conical foot with pontil, 14.8cm. high.* In good condition overall, with no chips or cracks. Some scratching around edge of foot and a couple of tiny pinprick nicks from the top edge of the rim. Large bubble flaw to glass to underside of foot.

c.1900, signed with Encore and 3 diamonds mark, 11cm long overall, comprising signed main 8.5cm blade, corkscrew, foil cutter, can opener and awl, two-piece nickel grips engraved with 4” ruler in 16ths”, one side engraved with owner’s name A. J. LEECH MADRAS, together with some research papers regarding Leech and Thomas Turner. A J Leach was Sheriff of Madras and a leading figure in that city.
