Large Cuckoo clock (battery operated)

This intricately hand-carved Black Forest cuckoo clock by Fehrenbach features a traditional chalet-style case adorned with finely sculpted birds, oak leaves, and a prominent eagle crowning the top. Crafted in the Black Forest region of Germany, this limited-edition piece (Article No. 8636/6, Production No. 116) includes a certified VdS (Verein die Schwarzwalduhr) seal verifying its authenticity as a genuine handcrafted Black Forest clock. It is equipped with a Swiss-made Romance brand musical movement playing "Edelweiss" by R. Rodgers and "Lara's Theme" from Doctor Zhivago by M. Jarre. Designed for collectors and connoisseurs, this clock is part of a limited production of 1000 pieces. A Black Forest cuckoo clock, with two train striking movement. Height 40 cm, width 35 cm (see illustration). The clock in our opinion does appear to be complete.  It shows signs of age-related wear and there are two dents to the face particularly around the three, four and eight. If you advance the hands the cuckoo will pop out from its door and the bell will ring and then the door will close. Other than this we have been unable to get the movement working.
