19th century amethyst, gold and enamel necklace with cross pendant and matching earrings, the cruciform pendant suspended from graduated cushion cut amethysts in gold setting interspaced with gold and enamel quatrefoil panels and gold clasp with heart motif, 41cm length, together with a pair of matching pendant earrings, 30mm.The amethyst are all in good condition with no obvious abrasions of inclusions, even distribution of colour and seem secure in their settings The links are in good condition commensurate with age, no obvious signs of damage or repairs. Some minor losses to the enamel decoration. Clasp works well and looks original. The earrings are in good condition, the hook fittings are original, one is very fiddly/difficult to fasten. No obvious alterations. No hallmarks. Gross weight 20.7 grams.
Fine Edwardian aquamarine and diamond pendant, the large cushion-cut aquamarine measuring approximately 32mm x 21.5mm x 13.7mm, surrounded by a border of rose cut diamonds suspended from a diamond scroll with old cut and rose cut diamonds in platinum setting, the pendant measures approximately 55mm.The pendant is in good condition. It has been in the same family for at least three generations. The aquamarine is in good condition commensurate with age. No obvious signs of any damage or repairs. Appears to be platinum setting. Weighs approximately 21.4 grams.

A large Victorian needlework sampler, dated 1850, by Elizabeth Sutcliffe, with central verse above trees and a bird, a large country house below, all within a foliate border, rosewood cushion moulded frame81 x 83cm overallThis piece is made on a linen base cloth with threads of wool.There is an area in the bottom right corner which is a bit darker, but the rest has a relatively even colour for its age.The stitches have no holes and show no obvious sign of damage.The wooden frame has a few chips on the outer layer of rosewood, and minor bumps along the back edge of the frame.The gold filet has slipped a little at the top, and the gilding is a bit damaged.We have'nt examined the piece out of the frame.Please see further images.

A Queen Anne style wing easy chair, with deep buttoned back outswept arms and loose cushion upholstered in beige foliate patterned material and raised on moulded legs united to the rear by stretchers and terminating in castors. Height 124 cm, width across front of arms at widest point 90 cm, seat depth 60 cm.The upholstery is in generally good condition. There are age related knocks and marks to the legs and stretchers. There is a little play in the wings and arms. The cushion is in generally good condition with a stuffed interior. In a seated position the chair is functional and relatively comfortable, showing very slight areas of bobbling to the hand rests.

The surmount is lacking as is often the case for mirrors of this type and age, fillets of timber have been inset to fill in where the surmount would have once sat. A PAIR OF GREEN PAINTED, PARCEL GILT AND LEATHER UPHOLSTERED ARMCHAIRS IN THE MANNER OF HENRY HOLLAND, LATE 19TH OR EARLY 20TH CENTURY 92cm high, 67.5cm wide, 85cm deep Condition Report: Overall there are some scratches, marks, chips, cracks and abrasions consistent with age and use.The green paintwork and parcel gilt is later and distressed; the leather upholstery is intact and distressed, with one seat cushion opening; the side and back panels sit within the seat frame, some rather loosely; there is corrosion to the close nailing.There are some constructional cracks in various places including the feet, arms, etc (see photos) and loose joints requiring repair; there is some evidence of old worm; one chair with webbing to the underside of the seat, the other with black cloth; one caster detached, one roundel missing.Please see all the additional condition report photographs through the link on the condition report email as a visual reference of condition - they are a vital part of this report. A set of six Regency style black painted faux bamboo chairs each with a caned seat and later tie on cushion, 81cm high, seat height 44cm without cushions (6)All over good condition with. Later recaned with two chairs having the caned seat painted. Only four chairs with tie on cushions. Minor abrasions to painting and gilding. Structurally sound. Stretcher all intact. Top rail on one chair with stable crack. Light scuffs and scratches consistent with age and use.
