The side band displays patriotic motifs including stars, stripes, and the lunar module with the date JULY 20TH 1969. Inside the lid is a dedication to the 20th anniversary of the first manned lunar landing, naming Neil Armstrong, Edwin Aldrin, and Michael Collins. The base is marked with the Smithsonian Institution seal and the Bilston & Battersea backstamp; The second box is an oval-shaped pink enamel piece commemorating ballerina Anna Pavlova.
