One holds a small round hand drum diagonally across the chest, her right arm raised in a striking gesture. The other clasps a flute close to the mouth with both hands. Their faces are delicately shaped, with painted eyes and lips. Traces of green, red, and black pigments remain on the garments and instruments.Size: 360-360mm x 105-110mm; Weight: 2.5kgProvenance: UK private collection; formerly acquired in the early 1990s in Hong Kong. These pieces have been precisely dated using a thermoluminescence analysis carried out by Ralf Kotalla.
