A stunning Art Deco ceramic figurine by Josef Lorenzl for Goldscheider, featuring a gracefully posed female dancer in a flowing red patterned shawl. This exquisitely sculpted piece captures the movement and elegance characteristic of Lorenzl's work, with the dancer's arms extended in a dramatic yet fluid motion. The figure's delicate features, wavy platinum hair, and sensual pose reflect the sophisticated aesthetic of the 1920s and 1930s. The high-gloss glaze enhances the contrast between the soft porcelain of the figure's body and the richly detailed red lace-patterned shawl. Mounted on a sleek black circular base, this sculpture is an iconic representation of Goldscheider's Art Deco mastery. Josef Lorenzl was a leading sculptor of the Art Deco era, renowned for his elongated, expressive figures that exude glamour and movement.
