Grueby Faience Company, Boston, Massachusetts. Group of 16 American Arts and Crafts enameled green ceramic pottery tiles, late 19th to early 20th century. Several tiles stamped "Grueby Tile" and "Boston" along the underside.(Tiles, each) height: 6 in x width: 6 in x depth: 3/4 in.Condition: General wear throughout consistent with age and use including some chips, scuffs, and some small losses along corners and high points. Many of the tiles are with cement affixed to the underside, consistent with their purpose as building materials, possibly obscuring further marks.

Mottled blue glaze along the exterior and green glaze along the interior.Height: 1 1/2 in x diamer: 3 1/2 in.Condition: There are no major chips, cracks, or repairs. Crazing to the glaze along the interior. There is a hairline crack measuring approximately one inch extending downwards from the upper rim; there is a possible repair to this crack. Light wear to the footrim.
