A late Victorian Minton Hollins rectangular horizontal fireplace tile, handpainted in polychrome glazes with a bluetit watching a sparrow flying down to another sparrow in a nest amidst flowering cherry blossom branches and grass, the back stamped 'MINTON HOLLINS & Co STOKE ON TRENT', 46cm wide, 15cm high.CONDITION: A couple of chips to the back left hand side and top corner as photographed, and a few small frits and chips to the edges and corners of the front which would be largely or completely hidden when installed.Packing & Shipping Let us take the hassle of sorting out packing and shipping from you. 18ct Gold Centre Seconds Chronograph Pocket Watch Engraved (Glass loose) and 9ct Rose Gold Albert Chain with Bloodstone Jasper and Sard Watch Fob. The Pocket Watch is hallmarked "18" for 18ct Gold, a shield bearing the town's arms, a sword and three sheaves of wheat assay marks for Chester Gold. The Pocket Watch is engraved "PRESENTED TO SERGT. HOLLINS. by his Friends of BROWNHILLS & DISTRICT as a mark of respect ON HIS RETIREMENT FROM THE POLICE FORCE Decr 21st 1898". The Pocket Watch is Untested. The Albert Chain is hallmarked " 9 375" for 9ct Gold. The width of the Albert Chain varies from approx. 5mm-8mm. The length of the Albert Chain is approx. 14 1/2 inches. The surrounding casing of the Watch Fob has splits in the Gold. The Round Cabochon Bloodstone Jasper and Sard on the Watch Fob measures approx. 22mm x 22mm. There is slight nicks in the Round Cabochon Bloodstone Jasper and Sard. Total Gross Weight of the 9ct Gold Albert Chain is approx. 62 grams.

Indian Title Badge, G.VI.R., Khan Sahib, silver and enamel, the reverse engraved ‘Mr. Mohammad Ahmed, M.A., L.T., L.L.B. 1st Jany. 1946’, attempted erasure over name, otherwise very fine £140-£180 --- Awarded 1 January 1946. Mr. Mohammad Ahmed M.A., L.T., L.L.B., High Court Pleader, Mhow Cantonment: ‘Mr. Mohammad Ahmed, resident of Mhow Cantonment is aged about 46 years. He is a leading member of the local Bar and has for some considerable time been a member of the Cantonment Board and its Education Committee. He has worked successfully in all branches of war activities especially in publicity. He is a member of the committee connected with controls. Consequent on the resignation in March 1945 of Mr S. T. Hollins, C.I.E., who among other duties was editor of the Central India Weekly News, a wartime publication sponsored by me (the Resident of Central India), Mr Ahmed was selected as Editor of the paper in which capacity he worked until it ceased publication. I consider the title of Khan Sahib in the New Years Honours List for 1946 would be a fitting recognition of the good work he has done.’

Football autographs, Chelsea FC, an Order of Service card from the Thanksgiving for the Life of Peter Osgood, 1947-2006, held at his local church in Shedfield, 14 March 2006. The Service was attended by many Chelsea & Southampton ex-teammates together with other friends & associates. The Order of Service has multiple signatures to the back inc. John Hollins, Charlie Cooke, Alan Hudson, Tommy Baldwin, Brian Mears (former chairman), Peter Bonetti, David Webb, Tommy Docherty (Ex-Manager), John Boyle & Chris Garland, sold with sheet identifying the signatures. One of the attendees, a local businessman, had prepared his own tribute to 'Ossie' and had it displayed in a football memorabilia shop near St Mary's Stadium, a photo of the display together with a hand written copy of the tribute is also included.
