A 19TH CENTURY CHINESE FAMIILE VERT SCRIPT BOWL (2). of cusped shaped form, enamelled with a mountainous wooded landscape and scripted verse, bears four character mark, 14cm diameter, 8cm high, together with a famille vert small dish enamelled with bamboo and scripted verse, bears Kangxi mark. (2). CR* the bowl with small chip to rim, small areas of rubbing to lower interior rim, also some rubbing and wear to raised foot. The dish with two small chips to rim, some rubbing and wear to foot.

CHINESE ROULEAU POWDER BLUE PORCELAIN VASE - KANGXI. CHINESE ROULEAU POWDER BLUE PORCELAIN VASE - KANGXI. Kangxi period (1661-1722), a powder blue and gilded rouleau shaped vase, bearing an old label to the base. 44.5cms high. *CR Rim and inside seems fine with a few scratches and marks inside, unfortunataly a great deal of the gilding has worn away over time, some black marks around the shoulder of the vase, some marks to the body on one side, some wear to the base. Body seems to ring nicely.

Unmarked, 19cms high *Provenance, formally owned by Lieutenant Commander Henry Radcliffe James, who lived at Edgeworth Manor near Stroud, and has passed through the family. *CR Some wear and scratches to the top of rim and inside, some marks and wear around the footrim and side of the base. Small pin hole inside and a small area of glaze loss to the base.
