Provenance: the ship was commissioned by Mr H M Blenkinsop Esq, 1 New Street, Warwick, in 1935 with various correspondence letters between Bassett-Lowke Ltd and Mr Blenkinsopp charting the models progress including a letter acknowledging receipt for a cheque of £10:10s, another for the supply of the display case, blueprint drawings and a facsimilie photograph depicting Warwick Castle in steam, summer 1936.
