A James MacIntyre & Co Hesperian Ware two-handled vase by William Moorcroft - very early 20th century, green painted 'W. Moorcroft Des' signature and brown printed retailer's mark 'Hesperian Made for Osler London' to base, also impressed 'P' to inside edge of foot, of stout baluster form with an everted rim and twin loop handles, tubeline decorated with flowers and leaves in shades of blue on a pale blue ground, highlighted with a pale red flambe glaze in places, 19.6cm high. (repairs to both handles)* Both have handles have been off and have glued repairs - one came off in one piece but the other was in three pieces and the repair was not well aligned towards one end. There is some dripped glue residue below the handle to that side (which does come off with care). Light glaze crazing to base. No other faults - no chips, cracks or hairlines, no other restoration.
