A Meccano RS1 radio receiving set circa 1922, first series example, appears complete with original and photocopied booklets and ephemera, detailing the delights of radio, and a copy of Meccano Magazine advertising the set itself, all mounted on correct Meccano oak base, with Meccano gold lettering and BBC type approved by Postmaster General label to underside, complete with double headphone and all card box, excellent example and in good clean condition, very rare, box has some glue and minor repairs to lid, but structurally very goodOverall in excellent, clean condition. All original, box has glue repair to lid. Box base requires restoration to box base in corner. Ear pieces both marked Meccano. Slider in good condition. Underside label excellent.
