WWI a Bruce Bairnsfather Grimwades dish with trench image and caption "What Time do they Feed the Sea Lions, Alf?', diameter 25cm diam, the reverse plate with label: Made by the Girls of Staffordshire During the Winer of 1917 when the Boys were in the Trenches Fighting for LIBERTY and CIVILISATION., together with a Royal Doulton D5957 Famous Ships - "The Hydra" jug, printed marks, numbered 24 together with Royal Doulton "John Barleycorn Old Lad" moon face jug., a Melba ware Chinaman character jug and a Adams Valentine Series 1840-Period transfer printed moulded plate [5]
A Melba Ware model of a roaring lion, L-25cm, together with a Sylvac terrier, sticker to the base, a nineteenth century figural Meissen style candlestick holder, bears a faded blue crossed swords mark on the base, H-22cm, together with a large Japanese bottle vase with a scalloped rim, decorated with chrysanthemums, bamboo and rockwork, on a matte brown ground, with character marks to the base, H-45cm.
A scarce 1920s Melba Ware Dolly Varden pattern coffee service - green and black printed factory marks, comprising a coffee pot, 16.5cm high; a cream jug, a sugar basin; and six coffee cans and saucers.* One coffee can has a very small (1cm) hairline near the handle. No other faults - in good condition overall.

**Collection of Four Ceramic Horse Figurines Including Melba Ware Grey Stallion**This collection features four distinctive ceramic horse figurines, each showcasing a glossy, decorative finish. The leftmost horse is the smallest, in a light, possibly white or cream colour. Next is a darker brown horse with a black mane. The third figurine is a larger brown horse exhibiting a gradient effect with darker shading near the mane and tail. The rightmost horse, identified as the "Melba Ware Grey Stallion," is grey and the largest among the four, standing approximately 8 inches tall as measured at the top of the head. Notable markings include "Melba Ware England" on the Melba Ware Grey Stallion and "Japan" on one of the other figurines, indicating their places of origin. One of the grey horse figurines also has an imprint marked "LL." These figurines collectively offer a charming array that reflects both artistry and craftsmanship, ideal for collectors and enthusiasts of ceramic art.
