A George III silver Christening mug, mark of Rebecca Emes & Edward Barnard I, London 1811, plain straight sided with engraved monogram, upper with a decorative band, leaf capped scroll handle and gilt washed interior, raised on a short pedestal foot, 6.5cm diameter, 9cm high, 194g (6ozt)Overall in fair condition with no obvious signs of repair. Some minor surface scratches, as to be expected and commensurate with age and use. Rim and the base misshapen and the cup leans a little, most of which probably the result of crushing from the top. Wobbles when on a flat surface.

Some surface scratches all over, as to be expected. Some minor deformation of the rim at the base, but not immediately obvious. Hallmark clear and readable.

Some surface scratches and minor dents and dings, as to be expected and commensurate with age and use. Base a little out of shape and the cup leans a little, probably as a result of crushing from the top. A shallow dent to the cartouche.Case in good condition

Some slight surface scratches, as to be expected and commensurate with age and use. Two minor dents to the rim of the base, and the top rim is slightly out of shape.Case in fair to good condition. Clasp in need of adjustment. Some staining to the inner. Some scuffs to the outer and the remains of two sticky labels.
