Duke and Duchess of Kent: a framed pair of penny sheet printed in black on paper, one being ‘Answer to the Address of City of London on 28th May 1837’ by the Duchess the other a ‘Biographical Sketch’ of the late Duke, both circa 1837, both framed, 450 x 320mm overall (2)(commemorative, pottery, royal, royalty, coronation).* In 1837 Victoria’s eighteenth birthday was on 24th May, she acceded to the throne on 20th June.These publications were most probably intended as information sheets as to the lineage of the new Queen.
