This finely crafted brooch is made of 22kt gold, with an intricate openwork filigree design. Though stamped "750" on the reverse, the gold tests as 22kt. TRAVEL POSTER - Three Vintage Travel Advertising Posters by Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse and Jean Gabriel Domergue - Three colourful vintage travel posters displaying beautiful artwork used to advertise locations including Monaco, Cote d'Azur and Nice. The Monaco poster displays artwork by Jean Gabriel Domergue of a pin-up style lady sitting on a diving board. The second poster shows art by renowned painter Pablo Picasso called Pigeons at La Californie, published by the Ministry of Transport and Public Works, France, in 1962. The final poster, "Nice Travail et Joie", shows artwork by renowned French artist Henri Matisse and was published by the Nice Tourist Office and the Mediterranean Union for Modern Art in 1947. Regency diamond and black enamel gold mourning brooch, the central glazed locket containing a lock of hair, surrounded by an old cut diamond border and gold foliage on black enamel ground, 41mm.Very good condition commensurate with age. One very minor chip to left hand edge of the enamel (when viewed very closely), light surface scratches commensurate with age. Diamonds are all original and secure. The brooch pin is steel, not gold, the catch and pin secure correctly. Glass to the locket is in good condition and the hair is original and appears to be un-disturbed . No hallmarks but appears to be gold. Weighs 12 grams
Art Deco Cartier blue sapphire and citrine/topaz stick pin/cravat pin, the stylized nail head terminal with modified calibre cut blue sapphires and citrines/topaz in platinum and yellow gold setting on platinum pin with maker's mark and Carier signature, 7.5cm.Good condition commensurate with age. I'm uncertain whether they are citrines or topaz or similar, the central citrine or topaz has a small chip. The sapphires are all in good condition. Setting is in good condition. Clear Cartier signature and maker's mark. Weighs approximately 2.53 grams.
