Finished in deep red flambe glaze with fluid marbled and streaked accents in brown, blue, and lavender tones. Chinese cast iron makers plate DALIAN LOCOMOTIVE PLANT 1959 number 3. Ex Chinese State Railways JS Class 2-8-2 locomotive built in 1959. Measures 22in x 12in and is one of the earlier plates with the star at the top which on later plates is replaced with the Ministry of Railways logo. Face restored.
