A pair of Royal Doulton blue and gilt ground hand-painted urn shaped vases and covers, the panels decorated with rural scenes by J H Plant, No'd to base "RA6601", 31.5 cm high (2 plus covers) CONDITION REPORTS Both are incredibly dirty and in need of a good clean. One has damage to one of the "jewels" on the rim and some damage to the gilded area on the foot and some crazing to the glaze, particularly on one handle. One lid has been damaged to the main area and has been restored. Otherwise both have general wear and tear conducive with age and use, in need of a good clean - see images for more details

The central part is equipped with a steel spike, which served as additional protection against blows or as a means of attack in close combat. The surface of the shield is richly decorated with etched plant ornaments that cover most of the surface and form the central decorative motif. Posy Angels - A lot to include; 5 Posy Angel ceramic figurines, wicker basket and a ceramic plant pot. The Angel figurines have various designs and sizes, with the largest measuring approximately 35cm tall and the smallest 23cm, they appear to be in Good condition with no obvious signs of restoration, chips, cracks or similar. There does appear to be sticker residue on the figurines. The plant pot is approximately 28cm tall and 24cm to wide, and appears in Fair to Good condition with signs of use. Chinese cast iron makers plate DALIAN LOCOMOTIVE PLANT 1959 number 3. Ex Chinese State Railways JS Class 2-8-2 locomotive built in 1959. Measures 22in x 12in and is one of the earlier plates with the star at the top which on later plates is replaced with the Ministry of Railways logo. Face restored.
