Star Wars – Stephen Merchant’s collection - an original vintage 1980 Palitoy made action figure playset 'Millennium Falcon Spaceship'. 100% complete including the cockpit cover, hatch, hatch struts, chair, table, floor panel, Jedi training ball and arm, large rear panel and all three legs. Housed within its original Palitoy Empire Strikes Back box, with instructions, Palitoy booklet and the fold-out poster. Falcon appears generally VG to VG+ with some discolouration to the exterior. From the childhood collection of Stephen Merchant - actor, writer, comedian, and director. A self-professed Star Wars superfan when he was a child; Merchant’s love for the franchise began at six years old when he saw The Empire Strikes Back in the cinema. That screening gave birth to Merchant’s lifelong love of cinema and film. Proceeds from this lot will be donated to Ashton Park Secondary School Parental Hub, who are raising funds to create a large outdoor covered space with ample seating for a range of activities. Stephen’s nephew and niece are pupils at the school. The Ashton Park School Association is a registered charity (1039677).

A very large Royal Doulton ‘Morrisian’ ware vase, decorated by Will H. Bradley after Aubrey Beardsley, of tall conical form, the sides decorated with figures, block prints in sepia with ‘Holbein’ glaze. The American poster artist Will H. Bradley (1868-1930) work was influenced by Aubrey Beardsley, base with Royal Doulton and Morrisian marks, 60cm high, 31cm diameter. Condition report The vase rim has been repaired and riveted.
